Women are beautiful. We desire to make ourselves visually attractive. God made us that way, and He pronounces us “Very Good”.
Men are visual. God made them that way. God said of His creation of man that it is also “Good”.
Why are things so screwed up then? Women try to find validation in being Head-turners. Men seek gratification in satiating their visuals.
Sin, people.
It’s sin. Sin came into the world and we have fallen from perfection.
Now, while this is not an article on man’s fallen state, I do clarify that in order to experience that inner perfection of grounded validation, we must first experience the regeneration of a heart that has been made new by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Back to the subject:
Women are beautiful and we as women need to delight in that!
But let us not stop here; let’s take this a step further.
Do you want men to appreciate who you are as a woman? Do you want them to see your heart and value what you have to give the world? Or, do you just want guys to see a great body walking by? If you only showcase your body, the validation you feel will be shallow and short-lived.
Give guys reason to look at your face and want to know your beautiful heart.
If all they can see and think about is your body, you make it hard for them to focus on your face, your words and who you are as a person.
Be more desirous of portraying your lovely soul than showcasing your physical commodities.
If you want men to see you as a unique individual, a grounded woman worth knowing, then make it easy for them to focus on your face. Dress in a way that they will see you, not just a body. Let them see your clear eyes and a beautiful heart.
A great body, a beautiful face will always turn heads but a beautiful character will turn hearts.
Fact:
Some gorgeous women trigger respect and honor.
Other gorgeous women generate superficial invitation.
What is it that you want men to notice about you?
Let’s be more than just Head-turners.
Let’s be women that make it easy for men to focus on our faces and personality.
Let’s be women that are grounded in who we are and what we have to give the world.
Let’s be women whom men will instinctively know that we possess a beautiful heart.
Let’s be Heart-turners!
